Speedwerks was formed in 2006 when our founder, Alex Duberley, spotted a need for a VW/VAG specialist in the Cinderford locality who could offer top class automotive services at lower rates than main dealers.

We bring many years experience to local VW Audi group vehicle owners (and other marques including Porsche) as Alex has previously worked both in the smaller, independent specialist garage sector and for larger VW Audi Group dealerships.

We think the reason for our success, and why customers regularly return and recommend us to others, is a combination of top quality work combined with a transparent, highly personal and friendly service. We actively encourage customers to discuss their needs and budgets and offer a bespoke service to exactly suit individual requirements.

We’re as enthusiastic about cars as many of their owners are, so motorists with specialist vehicles such as customised VW Golfs or Transporters know a keen expert is going to look after their vehicle when they bring it to Speedwerks.

We’re located in Cinderford, regarded as the heart of the pretty Forest of Dean area in Gloucestershire, and are within easy reach of the town by road and bus.
